We’re looking for a skilled and detail‑driven Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for the assembly, build, and final preparation of Servomex products, ensuring each unit meets strict quality and technical standards.

This role is a full time, permanent opportunity with a Monday to Friday working pattern, starting m – please see schedule below.

• Build Servomex products following standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Assemble small, delicate components with high precision.
• Fully comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
• Investigate and fault‑find nonconforming products, completing reject documentation and corrective actions.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality throughout the build process.
• Produce, update, and maintain build records and documentation.
• Organise your work area effectively to manage changing workloads.
• Cross‑train across multiple product lines to broaden your skills.
• Work under ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control conditions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, and cost.
• Perform basic testing of completed analysers when required.

• Hands‑on experience in electronic, electrical or mechanical assembly would be a distinct advantage.
• Previous assembly experience within an instrumentation or similar technical manufacturing environment would be a great plus.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques and production workflows would be of great interest to us.
• Strong organisation, time management, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to train colleagues and share process knowledge.
• Team leadership capabilities.

• GCSE (or equivalent) Grade 4 (C) or above, in science or engineering‑related subjects.

• BTEC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.

Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:15 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30

You will receive appropriate rest and meal breaks as part of a supportive and well‑structured working environment.

£27,000 to £29,500
