• Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers
• Engage with customers proactively, recommending products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with multiple customers simultaneously
• Move throughout the checkout area, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving products
• Thank customers and invite them back to shop at Lowe’s

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions
• Show sincere appreciation to customers
• Inform customers about stock, warranties, and store programs
• Train and develop associates in departmental duties
• Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
• Handle cash accurately
• Support and coach front end team members
• Remove security tags, verify product info, and bag merchandise
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Open additional registers as needed
• Assist with line vesting for quicker checkout

• Prepare register area at shift start/end
• Inspect returned merchandise
• Enter and submit customer orders
• Review online orders and returns
• Verify prices and look up product info
• Record store item usage

• Monitor cash and obtain safety bags
• Assist with store security and alarm triggers
• Detect shoplifting and communicate risks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Ensure safety standards and operate store equipment

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers
• Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment
• Experience as a head cashier
• Experience in Lowe’s store departments
• Supervisory experience
• Experience detecting shoplifting
