Position Summary:

As an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being. You have autonomy over your practice as a lease holder and can establish your days and hours, control patient scheduling, and set your fee schedule. You may opt into equipment/instrumentation and administrative and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows) to support your practice.

What you’ll do

• Launch your services in Walmart stores
• Operate as an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside Walmart stores
• Establish your days of practice and hours of operation
• Control your patient schedule
• Set your fee schedule and keep 100% of exam/professional fees
• Opt into available support services (equipment/instrumentation; administrative and/or Opt-Tech support, if state allows)

Minimum Qualifications for a lease agreement

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license
• General Liability Certificate
• Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
• W-9
• ME & VA license agreements are with Gumberg Asset Management Company
