AP​/AR - Commercial Construction

Job Description

Overview A rapidly growing commercial construction company is seeking a seasoned AP/AR Assistant to support its CFO and existing accounting staff. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy, energy, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and manage pay applications, including AIA billing and Form 703
• Support month-end processes and job cost tracking
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Collaborate with the CFO and accounting team to support daily operations
• Contribute to the successful transition from Quick Books to Plexus

Required Qualifications

• Commercial construction accounting experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes
• Proficiency in Quick Books
• Experience with AIA billing and pay applications
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, growing environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Plexus or similar accounting/project management systems
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new software and workflows
