Senior Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join a diversified family-owned business with operations and investments across light manufacturing, quick-service restaurants, and other family investments
.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and process improvement to support financial compliance and strategic decision-making.

The Senior Accountant will use strong analytical, technical, and communication skills while collaborating with different teams and mentoring junior accounting staff.

• Perform monthly and fiscal year-end close activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank statement reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting schedules are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare intercompany inventory transfer reconciliations

• Maintain depreciation schedules for all company locations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, general ledgers, and other financial documents
  .
• Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting
  .
• Assist with tax return preparation and, when needed, tax return filing.
• Lead the Accounts Payable process, including proper invoice coding and receipt.
• Identify and implement process and technology improvements within accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable governmental accounting requirements
  .
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA preferred

• Accounting experience
  .
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  .
• Proficiency with Pro Series Tax software
  .
• Experience in Tax Accounting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
