Job Purpose And Summary

Pharmacy Technicians support our pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. As the first point of contact, you help patients receive safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional service.
Responsibilities- Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists.
- Carry out pharmacy workflow procedures (production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, drop‑off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Provide empathetic, personalized service at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone; offer immunizations and other services; resolve or escalates patient concerns.
- Perform basic inventory activities such as putting away deliveries and completing cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, and waiting bin inventories.
- Engage in continuous learning to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, travel to nearby stores as needed, and uphold a safe, inclusive team culture.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and CVS policies regarding patient safety, controlled‑substance dispensing, and privacy.
- Deliver additional patient health care services such as immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and off‑site clinic staffing where authorized.
- Compliance with all state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education, and licensure/certification.
- State‑level licensure and national certification as required by state law.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Completion of required training within designated timeframe.
- Effective customer service, team orientation, communication skills, and mathematical reasoning.
- Problem resolution, physical mobility, and ability to work in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
- 1–3 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Ability to work at the home store and travel across the market.
