Assisting Hands Home Care – Merrillville is hiring immediately for dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care to seniors and adults in Crown Point, Indiana.

• Provide personalized care according to each client’s Plan of Care
• Assist with personal needs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers
• Maintain a safe, clean home (light housekeeping, laundry, organizing, meal preparation)
• Offer companionship and promote social engagement
• Support mobility (walker, wheelchair) and provide medication reminders
• Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior
• Document care accurately using our mobile app
• Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant)

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• Current CPR certification and TB test
• Must pass a national background check
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
