Director of Nursing

Crown Point HC, a premier skilled nursing facility located in Hobart, Indiana, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our team of qualified professionals in providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Director of Nursing at Crown Point HC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care, comfort, and support.

As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, including directing and managing the nursing staff, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our residents, families, and healthcare partners to ensure seamless transitions and quality care.

• Oversee the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive and individualized care
• Direct and manage the nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare partners, residents, and families to ensure seamless transitions and quality care
• Collaborate with other departments, such as rehab, social services, and therapy, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction.
