Overview
Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, mounting and connecting electrical components and wires for manufacturing of recycling machinery; and testing finished machinery.
Crown Point, Indiana – Manufacturing
Responsibilities- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, measurements, and engineering parts lists to determine proper machine assembly
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Safely utilize hand and power tools to aid in electrical assembly
- Use a saw, sander, drill, conduit bender or other tool to complete tasks
- Work with low voltage control circuitry as well as high voltage motors and components
- Safely operate and test finished machines
- Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented as required
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Sit, stoop, bend
- Reach above shoulders
- Lift 50 to 100 pounds
