Melter/Furnace Operator
Our company is seeking an experienced Melter/Furnace Operator to join our 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM team. In this role, you will be responsible for melting and pouring aluminum and magnesium into sand molds, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Responsibilities- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and the ability to understand and follow all safety procedures.
- Possess a technical understanding of furnace operations and components. Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on furnace equipment.
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and other critical parameters effectively.
- Maintain accurate logs of operations, maintenance, and safety checks.
- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to furnace operations.
- Perform manual labor and stand for long periods.
- Collaborate effectively with other operators and staff.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pouring or foundry work
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
