AMG Specialty Hospital – Northwest Indiana isseeking a Full Time Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN)! The Wound Care Nurse evaluates new and existing inpatient’s wounds and monitors and treats the wound as per treatment policies and procedures. Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long‑term acute care setting. Communicate with physicians/CCO/co‑workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient’s condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Infection control responsibilities may be required in this position.

• Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure in state of Indiana.
• RN or LPN with current WOC certification or RN with intent to obtain certification within a year is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire date)
• Minimum of six months to one year’s work experience preferred.
• Infection control responsibilities may be required in this position.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
