AMG Specialty Hospital is aboutique Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility. We provide exceptional,high-acuity care to a small, focused subset of patients requiring extended ICUstays, ventilator support, vasopressors, or advanced wound management. As a privately held specialty hospital,our nurses are highly valued, share in our success and enjoy a close-knit,specialized clinical environment over a massive, impersonal health system.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver advanced practical nursing care forhigh-acuity patients, including ventilator monitoring, complex treatments,and advanced wound management under RN supervision.
- Administer medications and implement care interventions for patients transitioning from traditional ICUs.
- Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, respiratory therapists,and leadership to drive positive patient outcomes.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience: Prior nursing experience in a high-acuity setting (e.g., Acutecare, Step-down, or high-acuity LTAC) is preferred. Must be anengaged, self-motivated clinician
- Strong organizational abilities; fluent in verbal and written English.
