HOMEstretch is a fast-growing home services franchise that helps real estate agents and homeowners get listings market-ready with one solution for junk removal, painting, flooring, landscaping and cleaning.

We’re in our second year in Northwest Indiana and looking for a Business Development Specialist to help double the business.

If you want to build alongside the owners, talk with interesting people all day, and own your results, keep reading.

What You'll Do:

  • Call or visit real estate agents every day to introduce HOMEstretch and build strong relationships so they think of us first when they get a listing that needs work—these are relationship-building calls, not pressure sales.
  • Book and run real estate office presentations, and attend networking events to build relationships and awareness.
  • Attend homeowner consultations, walk the property, and help recommend a clear plan to get the home ready to list.
  • Keep your pipeline updated and honest (agents, opportunities, stages) and share simple weekly numbers with the Owners.

This Role Is for You If…

  • You’re ambitious and like having clear goals and targets.
  • You’re comfortable with new people on the phone and in person and respond quickly to calls, texts, and emails.
  • You like being part of a small team, sharing what you’re seeing in the field, and staying in the loop rather than disappearing with your pipeline.
  • You can run your own day: plan call blocks and follow-ups without someone watching over you.
  • You like the idea of owning a territory and being “the HOMEstretch person” for agents in Lake and Porter County.
  • You think in terms of building a book of business, want to join a fast-growing company early, and like seeing your work show up in revenue.

This Role Is Not for You If…

  • You need constant direction to know what to do next.
  • You get bored or frustrated by repetitive work (many similar calls each week).

What Success Looks Like

By the end of your first 90 days, you:

  • Have a daily rhythm of calls, texts, and meetings with agents.
  • Can explain what HOMEstretch does and how we make agents’ lives easier.
  • Have built a small, growing group of agents who know you by name and reach back out.
  • Are managing your own pipeline of agents and opportunities and closing your first 3–5 projects.

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience in sales, business development, or another outbound/client-facing role is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using a phone, email, text, calendar, and basic tracking tools to manage your pipeline.
  • Full-time only – this is a core role, not a side gig or part-time job.
  • Must have reliable transportation for meetings and property visits in Lake and Porter County.
  • Real estate or home services experience is a plus, not required.
