Looking for a part-time role that gives you every afternoon free?

We're looking for a friendly, organised and confident Administrator to join the office team of a welcoming primary school in Croydon, working 8am-12pm, Monday to Friday.

If you're confident answering phones, dealing with parents and visitors and getting stuck into general admin, this could be a great fit.

About the School

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon who are looking for a reliable and personable School Administrator to join their office team.

The school is looking for someone who can provide a friendly and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff, while supporting the smooth running of the school office.

The Role

As a School Administrator, you will provide general administrative and reception support during the morning school hours.

Your responsibilities will include:

Answering and directing incoming phone calls
Welcoming parents, visitors and staff
Responding to general enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
Supporting with general administrative tasks
Updating records and handling basic school paperwork
Sending and responding to emails
Assisting the wider school office team
Maintaining confidentiality and following school procedures
Helping ensure the school office runs smoothly each morning

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is:

Friendly, approachable and professional
Highly organised and reliable
Confident answering phones and dealing with enquiries
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
Able to work calmly in a busy school office environment
Experienced in administration, reception or customer-facing roles
Confident communicating with a range of people
Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Ideally experienced within a school or education setting, although this is not essential

Successful applicants will be required to complete full safeguarding and compliance checks, including an enhanced DBS check, in line with KCSIE requirements.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
