Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

Salary: £100 £ 130 per day (depending on experience)

Full-time / Part-time / Flexible work available

Smart Teachers is currently recruiting for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a range of welcoming and well-managed secondary schools across Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or take the next step in their education career.

• Supervise classes during teacher absences using pre-set lesson plans
• Manage student behaviour and ensure lessons run smoothly
• Provide assistance where needed and report feedback to teaching staff
• Work across different subject areas, gaining varied experience

• A passion for education and supporting young people
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility and confidence to adapt to different school environments
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience working with young people is preferred (e.g. in schools, youth work, tutoring, coaching)
