Monday to Friday, full time with full planning and teaching responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of German to join the successful Modern Foreign Languages department in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Croydon.

The successful candidate will be able to teach German across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, inspiring students through engaging and high-quality lessons and fostering a love of languages and global culture.

The Role

Teach German up to and including Key Stage 5
Plan and deliver well-structured, inclusive lessons that support progress for all learners
Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively
Take an active role in the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or be working towards it)
Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching German
Demonstrate high expectations of student achievement and behaviour
Be committed to professional development and collaborative working
Have experience teaching at KS5 (or the confidence and subject expertise to do so)
