Airport Planning & Advisory team
is based in our AECOM
Basingstoke and Londonofficesand are passionate about creating innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions for airports of all sizes - including major commercial hubs and greenfield airports togeneral aviation airfields and military installations.

Each team member has a development plan to provide a clear pathway to personal development and career progression. The team provides technicalsolutionsthroughoutthewholeprojectlifecycle frommasterplanning,feasibility, preliminaryanddetailed stage designs,to construction and handover. Our clients are many and varied from both the private and public sector and include airport investors, airportoperatorsand major contractors.

Here’swhatyou’lldo:

Design:contribute toairport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons,terminals,vehicle service roads,aeronautical ground lighting and signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitation ona wide variety of civil and military multi-disciplinaryaviationprojects

Produce:drawings, reports, calculations,simulation sand presentations

Investigate:undertake asset condition inspections on site,reporting on the condition to asset owners,that enablestrategic decisions to be made on capital project planning

Organise:

Take ownership anddemonstrateresponsibility for delivery of assigned tasks in alignment with project programme and budgets

Collaborate:withmulti-disciplinary design teams consisting ofarchitects,engineers and technicians across the UK and Europe.

Attend client meetings and contribute to discussions with project stakeholders around designs that you have developed

Assure:

Undertake self-checking of deliverables andparticipatein the design review processes. Demonstrate acommitment toAECOMs Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
