Full time HCA/Phlebotomist (Maternity Cover) urgently required for a Practice in Croydon. Dream Medical is working with a respected Practice in the Croydon area who urgently require full time HCA/Phlebotomist for Maternity Cover.

An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to assist with patient duties, support other team members, assist the Lead Nurse and Manager.

Your main responsibilities are to undertake the following clinical procedures: check height, weight, BMI, waist circumference, blood pressure monitoring, pulse, blood glucose monitoring, venepuncture, ECGs, respiration rates, peak flow rates, urinalysis, simple wound care, health promotion, assist with minor ops, family planning.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of GCSEs, NHS experience and be an excellent communicator, adaptable and a team player.

This role is full time, 37.5 hours a week, salary £17,500K FTC. This is a 10 month fixed contract to cover maternity leave.
