Location:

Field-based across South London and South West London, covering areas south of the River Thames within the M25. We are particularly interested in candidates located in or around Croydon and the surrounding postcode areas.

Working hours:

Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday + On-Call Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability & willingness to undergo and obtain a Secure Vetting (SC) clearance.

What you'll doJoin a team that keeps people, businesses and communities connected every day. As a Field Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in installing, commissioning and maintaining Vodafone's fixed and mobile network infrastructure, helping to deliver reliable connectivity and business solutions for customers across the UK. You'll enjoy a varied role that combines technical problem-solving, customer interaction and working in diverse environments, from network sites and rooftops to customer locations.

You will:

Install, commission and maintain network equipment, products and services to the highest quality and safety standards.

Work across a range of technologies including mobile networks, transmission systems, microwave radio, fibre and copper infrastructure, power systems and customer networking equipment.

Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption for customers and network services.

Climb towers and work at height on Vodafone infrastructure, maintaining the required safety certifications and health standards.

Collaborate with field delivery teams, network operations centres, project teams, vendors, suppliers and business customers to deliver successful outcomes.
