The Role Were looking for an organised and customer focused Operational Support Officer on six-month contract to join our Operational Support team, providing high quality administrative and operational support to our frontline teams. Reporting to an Operational Support Team Manager, youll play a key role in delivering efficient, customer centred support services that help our wider teams operate effectively. Youll work collaboratively across departments, supporting day to day processes and helping to resolve issues early, minimising complaints and improving customer outcomes.

This is a varied role where youll manage multiple processes, maintain accurate records and data, and provide timely, reliable support to colleagues and customers. Youll be expected to use your initiative, manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement in the way services are delivered. Youll be based at one of our main offices in Croydon, Hastings or Sittingbourne, with the option for hybrid working where appropriate and agreed with your manager.

You enjoy supporting others, working collaboratively and improving processes to make services run more smoothly. You will need: A proven track record of delivering a customer focused service Strong administrative and numerical skills, with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Confidence working with processes and data, including maintaining accurate records and documentation The ability to resolve issues early, using sound judgement and a problem-solving approach A flexible, collaborative mindset and a strong one team approach The ability to manage change effectively, understanding its impact and supporting successful implementation Resilience, patience and the ability to remain professional under pressure About the team Youll be part of our Operational Support team, which provides essential support services across the Operations Directorate.

The team works closely with frontline services and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality support across a range of processes, including customer contact management, tenancy administration, financial transactions and operational workflows. By maintaining strong relationships and a focus on customer outcomes, the team plays a vital role in helping our services run efficiently and effectively.
