Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Crumlin for the Mathematics Department Head. In this role, you will oversee the mathematics department, ensuring high teaching standards and curriculum development. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating instructional programs, mentoring mathematics teachers, monitoring student progress, and fostering an engaging learning environment. Additionally, you will take the lead in addressing operational needs, participating in faculty meetings, and liaising with school leadership to ensure alignment with institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mathematics content knowledge, curriculum design, and advanced pedagogical techniques for effective teaching.
• Experience with leadership, staff mentoring, and team management within an educational setting.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to support department operations and improve student performance outcomes.
• Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom and enhancing modern teaching methods with educational tools.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field; a Master’s degree or further education in Education or Mathematical disciplines is preferred.
