We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated, and passionate individual to join our team! Bilingual (Spanish) not required, but preferred. Must be proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).

Description & Responsibilities

This is a full time position that will be responsible for maintaining and operating one of our recycling facilities on a day to day basis. You will also be responsible for managing the warehouse employees (4 to 6 workers), and willing to get your hands dirty and work alongside the team on a daily basis. Within this position you will be responsible for a wide array of duties including but not limited to:

· Providing daily direction and leadership to the operations/warehouse employees

· Enforce and ensure compliance of all Company policies and procedures

· Adhering to Company policies in the area of safety, health, environment and community

· Display the ability to effectively communicate in both the written and the oral form

· Will be responsible for providing training and guidance to the current workforce to ensure continuous employee growth

· Maintain a safe work environment, conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings and conduct safety conversations as required

· Maintain positive work relations

· Clearly outline production goals to staff

· Achieve the highest level of inventory accuracy

· Ensure that all Employees are treated equally and fairly as documented in the Elgin Recycling Handbook

· Equipment management and required preventative maintenance programs

· Regular reviews, tracking of hours, and general management of all reporting employees

· Maintain an organized office and perform daily office duties as required by the job

· All other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

· Responsibilities primarily performed by standing / walking 90% of the time

· Sitting is required for the remaining 10% of the time

· Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds

· Normal range of vision, depth perception and hearing is needed

· Ability to bend, stoop and reach above the shoulders is required

· The ability to work in both extreme heat and cold weather conditions is required

Hours of Availability

The ideal candidate for this position must have an open availability and be able to work any hours of operation Monday through Friday and also have availability to work Saturdays as well. This location is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, and Saturdays from 8am-1pm.

• Salary Range for this position is $40,000 to $60,000 based on experience
