Art Department Student Workers complete a variety of tasks related to studio, collection, and office maintenance.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities- Assist with studio maintenance for safety and cleanliness.
- Assist with displaying and preserving art across campus.
- Assist with office maintenance and management of department systems including locker check‑outs, marketing material prep, and other essential systems.
- Assist with large projects as directed by the Gallery Curator and Department Chair.
- Must be able to push or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Position requires frequent bending, stretching, and lifting.
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to use office equipment (fax, copier, etc).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background check.
- Completion of New Employee Training.
- Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived).
- If the student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
