Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background, or desire to be trained, in various massage techniques. This role requires an understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to assess client needs effectively. The Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic treatments in a professional environment, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.

• Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal, cupping, hot stone, body scrub, etc.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their specific conditions and treatment goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and professionalism in the treatment area.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

• Valid state license as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client service.
• Ability to perform assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of massage therapy.
• Retail appropriate products to clients.
• Assist in all areas of the spa when available.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 32 per week
