Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving and breaking down product, equipment and supplies, and demonstrating products to consumers in a professional manner. The role requires maintaining a professional appearance and overall consistency with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Possess aptitude to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Properly set up and prepare event tables for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Use internet, company electronic systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs.
Individuals will be expected to perform any other job‑related tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Proficient ability to use personal computers, mobile devices and internal applications.
- Local food handler permit may be required.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), pushing a wheeled cart, preparing food with appliances, and handling cleaning supplies.
- English is primary language; bilingual skills may be required.
