• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system.
• Handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures per company policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads.
• Follow food safety regulations and safety procedures, report unsafe conditions.
• Create a welcoming environment, answer product questions, and support all store areas.
• Comply with all applicable laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts calmly, and act with integrity.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)

• Previous customer service roles
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk
