Job Title:

Heavy Duty Truck Technician

Our dealership is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Truck Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks, with a focus on engine and transmission work, and other mechanical duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues on heavy duty trucks
  • Perform routine maintenance on trucks, including oil changes and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance needed
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
    • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience working on heavy duty trucks
  • Certifications in Cummins and Autocar engines are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of engine and transmission systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must have own tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
