Position SummaryThe Ministry Site Director is a position that requires spiritual and organizational leadership skills, the ability to work with and through other people, and strong communication skills. S/he must embrace and build a team that embodies YFC’s Cultural Attributes:

S/he will seek to implement relational ministry actions to develop authentic Christ-sharing relationships with young people within the context of their YFC ministry model.
- Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team in accordance with the processes found in the Knowledge Base.
- Create a strong connection between local churches and the ministry site.
- Provide training materials and ministry site standards for ministry leaders.
- Develop healthy 3 Story teams for each ministry site.
- Establish necessary support and guidelines to ensure healthy and growing ministry at all sites.
- Be an advocate in the community for young people.
- Report progress and ministry updates to YFC.
- Manage, facilitate, and serve in the Relational Ministry Actions (RMAs).
- Direct the 3 Story Team at their site in accomplishing the standards outlined in the RMAs found in the Knowledge Base.
- Establish and develop programming materials.
- Train and evaluate ministry site leaders in implementing curriculum materials.
As an employee of Youth for Christ and an associate minister of the Gospel, you are expected to:
- Seek God's guidance through prayer and meditation for the organization and ministry initiatives.
- Participate and lead regular prayer, devotion, and worship times.
- Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at staff meetings, conferences, camps, and events.
- Model empathy, humility, and care, promoting equity and inclusion in word and practice.
- Embrace YFC's vision, mission, and Statement of Faith.
- Participate in YFC’s Blueprint for Leadership.
- Understand and lead through YFC’s 5 Essentials.
- Self-motivated with strong moral character.
- Connect well with youth and adults, managing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Perseverance through opposition and obstacles.

Credentials & Education- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Three years of ministry experience.
All employees are expected to actively participate in activities that promote stewardship, such as inviting contacts to fundraising events, recruiting donors, and ministering to them.
