Job Description - Clinical Nurse - Tele Nights (250004DR)
Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. Plans and implements nursing care; documents nursing assessments; identifies and reports situations requiring further intervention; formulates and communicates goal‑directed plan of care; assures patient rights. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement
Qualifications Education- Associate's Degree Nursing
- Issued by Florida or Compact State
- Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Clinical Nurse - ER:
One (1) year experience, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Clinical Nurse - NICU:
Two (2) years experience, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification - Clinical Nurse - Telemetry/PCU:
New grads accepted - Clinical Nurse - Labor & Delivery:
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certification - Clinical Nurse - Medical/Surgical:
New grads accepted - Clinical Nurse - Surgical Services:
Two (2) years operating room experience, circulating - Clinical Nurse - PACU:
One (1) year experience in critical care - Clinical Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery:
One (1) year experience in Surgical Medical Nursing, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Clinical Nurse - ICU:
One (1) year experience - Clinical Nurse - Wound Care:
One (1) year experience - Clinical Nurse IV: IV Certification, Certified Registered Nurse (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VA‑BC)
- Clinical Nurse Dialysis:
One (1) year experience in Critical Care - Clinical Nurse:
Two (2) years experience in Cardiac Vascular OR (CVOR)
