Fitness Trainer

Overview

Fitness Trainer at Baseline Fitness.

Reports to:

Club Manager. Status:
Full Time/Non-Supervisor/Non-Exempt.

Responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use equipment properly and safely.
• Create creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including: answer phones, check members into the system, new member sign-ups, tours for potential members, and updating member account information.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club and assist in its appearance.

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Speaking with members in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. infrequently
