Local Delivery Driver; CDL A or B

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or

Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.46 per hour, depending on experience.

• Deliver products to customers, averaging 10‑12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously build your knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help the organization grow.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 2 years of consecutive driving experience or a certification from an accredited Truck Driving School.
• Valid class A or B CDL is required.
• Current Hazmat Endorsement on CDL strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol related convictions within the last 10 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Read and write in English.
• High School or G.E.D. is required.
• 21 years or older.
