Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

• Loads films, both forming and non-forming.
• Programs Tiromat and changes programs as needed.
• Records production to get film yields and keeps film inventory.
• Sets up and operates machines, making minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Monitors finished packages for leaks, gas mix, etc. and keeps seal area clear of product.
• Maintains quality and weights, as required.
• Adjusts depth of tools from different size packages.
• Changes form gas flush to vacuum pack as needed.
• Fills out production and down time reports.
• Changes gas cylinders as needed.
• General operation of Tiromat and Multivac machines.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

• Die fillers, open-end and Allen wrench sets.

• The majority of the time is spent in the plant environment and will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
• Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.
• No job rotation.

• Bump cap, hair/beardnet, eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection and safety shoes.

• Proper lifting, PPE and chemical specific.
