Core ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and tasks are written as follows:
- Loads films, both forming and non-forming.
- Programs Tiromat and changes programs as needed.
- Records production to get film yields and keeps film inventory.
- Sets up and operates machines, making minor repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Monitors finished packages for leaks, gas mix, etc. and keeps seal area clear of product.
- Maintains quality and weights, as required.
- Adjusts depth of tools from different size packages.
- Changes form gas flush to vacuum pack as needed.
- Fills out production and down time reports.
- Changes gas cylinders as needed.
- General operation of Tiromat and Multivac machines.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Die fillers, open-end and Allen wrench sets.
- The majority of the time is spent in the plant environment and will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.
- No job rotation.
- Bump cap, hair/beardnet, eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection and safety shoes.
- Proper lifting, PPE and chemical specific.
