Industrial Painter - 1st Shift

• Prepare finishes and apply paints and enamels to company products with strict requirements for finish quality and corrosion resistance.
• Mix finishes to specified color, consistency and formulation for spraying or brushing application.
• Adjust equipment to obtain the best finish requirements and economic usage.
• Apply acid wash to castings, structures and hardware, fill and sand surfaces of castings where necessary.
• Mask switches, gauges, nameplates, and other components.
• Work from routing sheets and job specifications; use jib cranes, turning rigs, etc., as required to move and position work.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe condition. Work under minimum supervision; work is subject to critical inspection and testing.

Requires skill and knowledge of paint formulation with up to one year of experience.
