CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:
* * Transport and hang product from Smokehouse area to dry rooms as required.
* Keep accurate record of number and location of products hung.
* Supply product from dry rooms to packing line, recording number of pieces and sticks removed from section on inventory card.
* Pull sausage to be washed, wash it and re-hang it in Dry Room.
* Proper housekeeping.
* Wash product mold as assigned.
* Follow job rotation as assigned.
* Follow all GMP and Smithfield Food Safety Policies.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

* Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.
* Must be able to lift up to 65lbs.
* Vision requirement of at least 20/40 for near and far vision.
* Must be able to clim stairs. SAFETY EQUIPMENT/TRAINING REQUIREMENT:
* Bump cap, hair/beardnet, eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection, safety shoes MANDATORY TRAINING/COMPETENCY TO BE EARNED:
