Assembly Operative - Lates

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a number of Assembly Operatives for the late shift for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.

• Static shifts available on Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 4pm to midnight & Friday 3pm to 10pm
• Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
• Start date:
  
  Monday 7th September 2026 - no holidays approved in the first 12 weeks due to training
• Interviews to be on held on Thursday 3rd September
• Rate of pay: £16.31 per hour - rate includes an attendance bonus
• Contract:
  
  Temporary to Permanent based on performance and attendance
• Location:
  
  Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72
  
  Assembly Operative Duties:

• Assembling cabinets
• Working on assembly / production lines
• Quality checking of materials and finished products
• Packing and taping items
• Working with wood
• Following instructions
• General Housekeeping
• Working on your own and as part of a team
• Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
  Assembly Operatives Criteria:

• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - preferred but not essential
• Hard working, reliable and punctual
• Experience of operating and using hand tools
• Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
  ** Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
