Senior Warehouse Operative (Step-Up Team Leader)

£12.98 per hour

Brackmills, Northampton

Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (weekend flexibility required)

Temporary with potential to be made permanent after 12 successful weeks

We are looking for a Senior Warehouse Operative – Step-Up Team Leader to join our clients busy team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative who is looking to develop their skills and take on additional responsibility.

Although the majority of this role will involve general warehouse duties such as picking and packing, it also offers the opportunity to take on additional responsibility, develop your skills and gain valuable experience in a senior leadership role.

Main Duties

Picking and packing customer orders.
Supporting the team with day-to-day warehouse tasks.
Stepping up and supporting the team when required.
Helping to organise the workload and keep work on track.
Making sure orders are completed accurately and on time.
Using a computer and basic Excel spreadsheets.
Supporting colleagues and helping with day-to-day issues.
Following company health and safety procedures.
Maintaining good standards of work and productivity.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous picking and packing experience.
Previous Team Leader, Supervisor or Management experience.
Good PC/computer skills.
Basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to help.
The confidence to step up and support the team when required.
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
