Specialty Rx AL Holdings owns VCM Pharmacy Operations, a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing exceptional pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. VCM Pharmacy Operations is committed to delivering personalized care and high-quality pharmacy services.

VCM Pharmacy Operations is seeking Pharmacy Technicians located in the surrounding areas of Cullman, AL.

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
• Generate labels for dispensing.
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
• Clarify orders as needed.
• Triage incoming faxes.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

• Registered & Certified AL Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
  
  Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
• Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
• Quick typing skills.
• Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS.

• 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends.
