Blend Mill Operations Maintenance Generalist (MG01)

The Maintenance Generalist (MG01) is an entry-level maintenance position responsible for performing preventative maintenance and assisting in maintaining and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment and adheres to Tyson Food's policies and procedures. This position is cross-trained across all production job duties.

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Housekeeping responsibilities.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
• Work in varying temperature conditions, both hot and cold.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Work at heights.

• Up to six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer skills for training purposes.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to obtain and retain PIT Certification

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
