Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering quality patient care in their assigned unit, adhering to hospital and nursing standards, and supporting the hospital's mission and values. The RN collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, participate in performance improvement activities, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Responsibilities- Provide and document patient care based on the nursing process, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Support and protect patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Promote patient safety initiatives, including fall prevention, medication safety, and safety goals.
- Offer appropriate patient and family education per hospital policies.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- RN license in this state required.
- Experience in Med/Surg preferred; minimum one year experience in CCU, ER, Float Pool, Maternity/Nursery, OR, or Wound Care is preferred.
