* Job Summary:

*** Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
* Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure if experience permits.
* Directly assist operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
* Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.## Qualifications

* Education:

** Associate degree or higher in nursing from an accredited school of nursing and current license by Alabama Board of Nursing required. BSN degree preferred. Successful completion of basic life support - health care provider in all units.

* Experience:

** One year of experience preferred. Must pass medication test.

** Additional Skills/Abilities:
** Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests. Proficient oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills required.
