Assistant General Manager - Cullman

Management positions are full time only.
Responsibilities- Review the store’s P&L, assist in scheduling, and follow the GM’s direction to reach cost goals
- Master menu and product knowledge
- Serve guests and make meaningful connections with them
- Be responsible for the restaurant and the team working
- Set the tone for the shift and give clear, calm directions to your staff about their duties
- Supervise and mentor staff members and manage quality crew development, motivation, training and evaluations
- Support or work stations when needed (kitchen included)
- Assist the GM in interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
- Follow proper cash handling and payment procedures
- Maintain Health Department Standards throughout each shift
- Follow proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
- Proper food handling and storage of food products
- Maintain proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
- Must be 21 years of age
- Minimum of 1-3 years of management experience
- Prior knowledge of Profit and Loss statements preferred
- Working knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy
- Strong work ethic, desire to exceed guests’ expectations, and a real passion for fresh food
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to train, retain, and motivate quality employees
- Motivated, self-initiated, and team-oriented
Strong time management and organization skills - Must obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment
- Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:
- Morning shift – 7am – 4pm*
- Mid shift – 10am – 8pm*
- Evenings – 3pm – 10pm*
- Weekends – when applicable
- Holidays – when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)
* Hours will vary by store.
