Pay: £140-£290 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teachers to work across a variety of welcoming and well‑resourced secondary schools in Mid Devon, starting 20th April 2026.

We are recruiting across multiple subject specialisms, including but not limited to:

• English
• Maths
• Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• Humanities
• PE
• ICT/Computing
• Art & Design
• Design Technology
• Modern Foreign Languages
• Business Studies
• Performing Arts

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we want to hear from you.

• Deliver engaging and well‑structured lessons across KS3 and/or KS4.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
• Work collaboratively with department staff and senior leaders.
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
• Previous experience teaching in UK secondary schools (desirable).
• A proactive, adaptable, and reliable teaching style.
• An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
