Carrington Wood is supporting a reputable organisation in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their established team. You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring robust record-keeping, timely customer payments and efficient ledger management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Monitoring and managing the sales ledger
✔ Chasing overdue payments in a professional, customer-focused manner
✔ Allocating and reconciling incoming payments
✔ Assisting with purchase ledger processing and supplier payments
✔ Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
✔ Preparing customer statements and maintaining accurate system records
✔ Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoicing and payment queries
✔ Contributing to ongoing improvements across the finance function

What We’re Looking For:

💡 Previous experience in finance, accounts or credit control (1 year preferred)
💡 Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
💡 Confident communicator, both written and verbal
💡 Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
💡 Proactive approach with a focus on maintaining strong client relationships
