Carrington Wood is supporting a reputable organisation in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their established team. You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring robust record-keeping, timely customer payments and efficient ledger management.

• Monitoring and managing the sales ledger
• Chasing overdue payments in a professional, customer-focused manner
• Allocating and reconciling incoming payments
• Assisting with purchase ledger processing and supplier payments
• Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
• Preparing customer statements and maintaining accurate system records
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoicing and payment queries
• Contributing to ongoing improvements across the finance function

• Previous experience in finance, accounts or credit control (1 year preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Proactive approach with a focus on maintaining strong client relationships
