The Steamer Coffee House & Kitchen with over 100 covers and unlimited free parking has become a destination for food and coffee lovers from all over the region. We pride ourselves on locally-sourced, perfectly cooked and presented food alongside a stream of exciting family-themed events and the best coffee in Devon and other locally sourced produce. The team pour love and hard work into ensuring we give our visitors a reason to travel to us, with a welcoming and enjoyable experience when they do.

As we grow, expanding our team and opening hours, we are looking for passionate, driven, friendly and hard-working team players that want to enjoy their job.

We are looking for a ambitious Chef with some experience to support us in driving the business forwards with events, catering, cafe service and our takeaway. You will need to be passionate about cooking with local high quality ingredients, able to work in a team and produce high quality consistent meals in line with specifications.

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
1 Years Chef experience (desirable)
Allergen Awareness Certificate (desirable)

Location

This role would be based at the venue, which is located between Cullompton and Willand in Devon.

Working hours

The Steamer is open from 8.30am to 5pm Mon - Thurs, 08.30 to 10pm Fridays, 9am - 5.30pm on Saturdays and 9am - 4pm on Sundays. As the business grows more evening openings are planned and opening hours will flex in line with the business needs. It is important to note that this role will include some weekend & evening working.
