WORK PATTERN: Tuesday – Saturday 05:00 start Average 8–10-hour shifts

RATES: HGV Class 2

Days: from £16.40 up to £24.60 per hour

Nights: from £17.40 up to £26.10 per hour

Estimated weekly pay based on 45 hours: £738

Expected annual earnings: £38,376

• Carrying out multi-drop home deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Working alongside a Driver’s Mate to complete two-person deliveries
• Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
• Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
• Adhering to driver hours regulations and working time rules
• Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues to the transport office

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift with average 8–10 hour shifts

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to complete multi-drop deliveries and manual handling tasks
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
