Class 1 Ex Farm Milk Tanker Driver

Shift: 5 on 3 off, Nights

• Collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver it to the dairy with care and precision.
• Take milk samples during farm collections, label them correctly, and drop them off for laboratory testing in line with quality and food safety requirements.
• Engage in a variety of tasks, including farm collection and occasional transhipment roles, adding excitement to the daily routine.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time, meeting client requirements and maintaining high standards.
• Enjoy rural driving while navigating beautiful landscapes and countryside routes.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and reliability.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates on progress and any issues encountered.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards, procedures, and best practices.

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• A minimum of 6 months’ HGV driving experience.
• Experience with milk tankers is an advantage; full training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Competitive Pay: £18.61 per hour, based on 10 hours per shift.
