Class 1 Ex Farm Milk Tanker Driver
Location:
Cullompton
Shift: 5 on 3 off, Nights
AboutThe Role
- Collect fresh milk from local farms and deliver it to the dairy with care and precision.
- Take milk samples during farm collections, label them correctly, and drop them off for laboratory testing in line with quality and food safety requirements.
- Engage in a variety of tasks, including farm collection and occasional transhipment roles, adding excitement to the daily routine.
- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time, meeting client requirements and maintaining high standards.
- Enjoy rural driving while navigating beautiful landscapes and countryside routes.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and reliability.
- Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates on progress and any issues encountered.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- A minimum of 6 months’ HGV driving experience.
- Experience with milk tankers is an advantage; full training will be provided for the right candidate.

- Excellent geographical knowledge, navigating routes with ease and precision.
- Competitive Pay: £18.61 per hour, based on 10 hours per shift.
- Shift
Hours:
18:15 to 04:15, on a 5 on 3 off rota basis. - Overtime:
Paid at an hourly rate with enhanced rates for working weekends. - Training: DCPC training during employment and monthly courses for various areas.
