Class 2 Driver

Overview

We are looking for a Class 2 Driver on a temp ongoing basis to join our thriving client in Cullompton.

Pay £16.95 per hour (Weekly pay)

Immediate start

Temp ongoing work with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

Previous experience required

Monday to Friday 48 hours per week

JDR is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join a highly reputable client in the Cullompton area.

• Carry out vehicle checks each morning before use
• Deliver goods to customers
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, refuelled and checked before parking up in the designated spot in the yard after shift
• You will be responsible for collection of payment via chip & pin or cheque where applicable
• Recording any returns and placing these in warehouse
• Pick products from the vehicle from ambient, freezer or chiller compartments and ensure these are accurate before giving to the customer
• All empty pallets are to be taken from the vehicle and placed in the warehouse within the designated area and all plastic and cardboard to be recycled in the baler
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
• Complete any other relevant duties given to you by management

• Valid Class 2 licence as well as previous multi‑drop experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid DQC/CPC card
• Be a team player
• Excellent knowledge on driver regulations

• Possibility for the role to become permanent for the right candidate
