Job Overview
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Safety Manager to join a large Data Center build in Culpepper, VA. Relocation is available for this role.
Base Pay Range$/yr - $/yr
Location:
Culpepper, VA.
- Manage and mentor safety personnel, assess training needs, and support career development
- Oversee safety planning, inspections, and incident investigations across diverse projects
- Evaluate safety data to identify trends and implement corrective actions. Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and large-scale safety communications
- Ensure subcontractor and vendor compliance with safety standards
- Develop and refine safety policies, procedures, and inspection systems
- Support preconstruction safety planning and participate in project pursuits and client reviews
- Bachelor's degree in safety or related field (preferred). CHST, CSP, OSHA 30 (OSHA 500 preferred) credentials.
- First Aid/CPR certification
- 8+ years of construction safety experience, including high-hazard environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites and adapt to changing conditions
