Control Framework Governance Team Lead - Hybrid

The Control Framework Governance team you will lead is part of the Technology Risk and Control group, focusing on stakeholders across Swift in their risk management and compliance journey. The team manages control frameworks that enable Swift to achieve excellence throughout its value chain and provide assurance to our community.
What to ExpectIn this role you will:
- Manage the lifecycle of control frameworks: change requests, evolution, rollout, monitoring and reporting
- Be the custodian of the frameworks: ensuring their quality, consistency and structure
- Manage the assurance reporting: prepare the ISAE Type 1 reports
- Support the frameworks internally: maintain the documentation, report on compliance, organize training and participate in risk assessments and audits
- Act as GRC librarian: manage the control library and authority documents in Swift’s Integrated Risk Management system
- Lead a team of framework experts and ensure timely execution of tasks within the team’s scope
We are seeking professionals with:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in domains such as risk and controls management, audit, compliance or security
- Strong risk and control mindset and applied knowledge of control frameworks
- Good understanding of software and infrastructure delivery and management processes
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, eager to learn, assertive and team player
- Experience with assurance reporting (SOC, ISAE 3000, etc.) and/or in an agile setting as well as previous managerial or leadership experience are valuable assets for the role
- Fluent written and spoken English

Estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia: $ USD Annual MINIMUM to $ USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience and location. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, bonus opportunities contingent on personal and company performance, and a generous benefits program (medical, dental, vision and life insurance with no premium costs for employees and families, and a retirement plan plus matching 401(k)).
